Tryst After Death is one of Guertena's sculptures located in the Cyan Area of the Dungeon in the game Ib. The sculpture consists of a human skeleton wearing a regal robe and crown, holding an ornamental gold sword in his left hand, with his right arm embracing a girl with long brown hair, wearing a pale red dress; both figures are emerged partly out of a painting, much like how the Lady in Red and her other counterparts appear when they emerge out of their frames. The frame itself is slanted, likely kept standing by an invisible boost.
Because part of Garry's comment about the sculpture focuses on the skeleton's "ragged" cape (which is similar to Garry's ragged coat), the sculpture may bear a resemblance to Garry and Ib's relationship and may serve as a metaphorical purpose of their situation.
Location
In the Cyan Area of the Dungeon, the sculpture is located in the upper center of the room. Drinking in the Night, The Beauty of Blanc, and Flexible Stone can also be found in the same room.
In the True Guertena Exhibit, the sculpture is in the center of the Cyan Room.
