The Congested Eye appears in the Gray Area in the game Ib. On the west hall of the area, the floor is covered with living, harmless eyes, one of which is red and congested. If Ib waters the eye with the Eyedrops, it will move to the north end of the hall and show Ib and Garry a secret room on the right wall. Here, they can find a red glass ball to give to the White Snake Painting.
