You remember that painting of the clown we passed by, right? The thing rolling down the stairs was the clown's nose! Ahahahaha...

— Mary

Clown is one of Guertena's paintings located in the Brown Area in the game Ib. It depicts the face of a clown, with two eyes. There is a yellow star under the left eye (from our perspective) and a dark blue teardrop under the right. There is a blank spot in the center of the painting, meant for the red nose which has already fallen off. The clown's face is white, and the frame is red.

The painting is located in the Brown Area, in the upper-right of the hallway after the Box Room. When Ib and Mary arrive in this hallway, Clown's nose will fall off and will bounce down the stairs before splattering against the wall. Ib can stand in front of the nose to stop its descent, but it will resume when she moves away.

In the Sketchbook, a giant image of Clown is drawn in crayon in the Toy Box.
